De-a lungul vremurilor neamul nostru rom\u00e2nesc a trecut printr-un \u0219ir ne\u00eentrerupt de tragedii: invazii, epidemii, r\u0103zboaie, ocupa\u021bie, foamete organizat\u0103, deport\u0103ri \u00een mas\u0103 \u0219i represiuni. Istoria lor pare a fi neverosimil\u0103, dar, cu p\u0103rere de r\u0103u, r\u0103m\u00e2ne a fi mult prea adev\u0103rat\u0103. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Timp de mai mul\u021bi ani m\u0103 macin\u0103 o \u00eentrebare: de ce a fost deportat\u0103 familia bunicilor mei – o familie de mijloca\u0219i din satul Sire\u021bi, raionul Str\u0103\u0219eni? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Bunelul, Moisei Vasile, fusese primar \u00een satul lui de ba\u0219tin\u0103, \u00eencep\u00e2nd cu anul 1918. C\u0103tre venirea sovieticilor el nu mai de\u021binea aceast\u0103 func\u021bie, ci \u00ee\u0219i lucra cu for\u021bele proprii postata de p\u0103m\u00e2nt, pe care o avea \u00een posesie. Cu alte cuvinte, era un \u021b\u0103ran obi\u0219nuit, ca mul\u021bi al\u021bi cons\u0103teni. Da, gospod\u0103ria de care dispunea era destul de bun\u0103, pentru a st\u00e2rni cuiva invidia: avea peste 9 ha de p\u0103m\u00e2nt, vac\u0103, cal, c\u0103ru\u021b\u0103, o cas\u0103 de piatr\u0103 ridicat\u0103 \u00een inima satului. Dar \u0219i familia sa era numeroas\u0103, cresc\u00e2nd tocmai cinci fete. \u00cens\u0103, ca rezultat al instaur\u0103rii regimului sovietic, pe to\u021bi i-au \u201eridicat\u201d \u00een noaptea de 12 spre 13 iunie 1941…<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Pe bunic l-au dus \u00een lag\u0103rul de munc\u0103 silnic\u0103 din ora\u0219ul Ivdel, regiunea Sverdlovsk, iar so\u021bia (bunica mea, Ana), \u00eempreun\u0103 cu cele cinci copile, s-a pomenit str\u0103mutat\u0103 \u00een Republica Kazah\u0103, regiunea Kz\u00eel-Orda, localitatea Teren-Uzeak. Din pu\u021bina informa\u021bie, pe care o de\u021binem la moment, \u0219tim c\u0103 \u00een anul 1943 Moisei Vasile a decedat, iar cauza decesului \u0219i locul \u00eenhum\u0103rii sale a\u0219a \u0219i nu ne-au fost anun\u021bate nici de c\u0103tre organele de resort din URSS, nici din actuala Federa\u021bie Rus\u0103. De\u0219i \u00eemi dau destul de bine seama \u0219i sunt singur\u0103 de ce i s-a \u00eent\u00e2mplat \u00een Siberia \u201ede ghea\u021b\u0103<\/span>\u201d<\/span>. A muncit din greu la t\u0103ierea p\u0103durii, fiind sumar \u00eembr\u0103cat, f\u0103r\u0103 o alimentare adecvat\u0103, f\u0103r\u0103 asisten\u021b\u0103 medical\u0103, \u00een condi\u021biile unei clime aspre de taiga. Toate acestea, luate la un loc, i-au deteriorat s\u0103n\u0103tatea. \u00cen acela\u0219i timp, bunica, cu cei cinci copii minori, ducea o lupt\u0103 aprig\u0103 pentru supravie\u021buire \u00een partea arid\u0103 \u0219i nu mai pu\u021bin friguroas\u0103 a Kazahstanului. Acolo au fost \u021binu\u021bi sub un control strict al autorit\u0103\u021bilor locale, fiind lipsi\u021bi de orice surs\u0103 de existen\u021b\u0103 \u0219i de dreptul de a p\u0103r\u0103si localitatea. Ca s\u0103 nu moar\u0103 de foame, de r\u00e2nd cu al\u021bi nenoroci\u021bi din exilul for\u021bat, str\u00e2ngeau prin coclauri tot felul de semin\u021be s\u0103lbatice, spice de plante cerealiere, r\u0103d\u0103cini comestibile, ierburi… mai mult noaptea, pe ascuns, c\u0103ci \u00een cazul c\u0103 ar fi fost prin\u0219i, puteau fi aspru pedepsi\u021bi. \u00centr-o bun\u0103 zi mama \u0219i una dintre surorile sale, Veronica, au \u00eencercat s\u0103 fug\u0103 \u00een Moldova, dar au fost arestate \u0219i trimise la \u00eenchisoare. De abia c\u0103tre sf\u00e2r\u0219itul anilor <\/span>\u2018<\/span>50 li s-ar fi permis s\u0103 plece din Teren-Uzeak spre alt\u0103 destina\u021bie. Dup\u0103 decesul anun\u021bat al bunicului, pentru a putea supravie\u021bui \u00een condi\u021biile intemperiilor \u0219i restric\u021biilor dure, bunica s-a rec\u0103s\u0103torit cu un moldovean (tot fost primar, trimis la munc\u0103 corec\u021bional\u0103 \u00een Kazahstan), n\u0103sc\u00e2nd \u00eenc\u0103 o fat\u0103, pe care au numit-o Valentina. Dintre toate surorile mamei, numai m\u0103tu\u0219a Valea mai este \u00een via\u021b\u0103, celelalte deja au decedat. C\u00e2teodat\u0103 ne \u00eent\u00e2lnim \u0219i ne amintim despre timpurile, c\u00e2nd erau \u00een via\u021b\u0103 \u0219i bunica, \u0219i mama. Suntem cople\u0219ite de emo\u021bii \u0219i ne bucur\u0103 doar un singur lucru: copiilor care s-au n\u0103scut \u00een perioada deport\u0103rilor le-a fost recunoscut statutul de victim\u0103 a regimului totalitar comunist. Acum pot miza pe unele \u00eenlesniri, deocamdat\u0103 mul\u021bumindu-se cu 700 de lei adaos la pensia mizer\u0103 ce o au.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00cemi pare r\u0103u c\u0103 nu mi-am cunoscut deloc bunicul. Mama se temea s\u0103 ne povesteasc\u0103 ce \u0219tie despre soarta p\u0103rintelui s\u0103u, dar \u0219i despre perioada deport\u0103rilor \u0219i atrocit\u0103\u021bilor prin care a trecut personal. Bunica ne avertiza mereu s\u0103 nu spunem nim\u0103nui nimic despre familia noastr\u0103, deoarece am fost declara\u021bi \u201edu\u0219mani ai poporului\u201d. Eu, fiind mic\u0103, nu puteam \u00een\u021belege ce anume se avea \u00een vedere. Abia la v\u00e2rsta majoratului mi-a devenit clar, c\u0103 familia mea a avut de suferit injusti\u021bii cutremur\u0103toare \u0219i mult prea mari lipsuri din cauza regimului inuman stalinist. Frica de repetarea persecu\u021biilor a fost at\u00e2t de mare, \u00eenc\u00e2t nici ast\u0103zi nu cunosc mai nimic din istoria vie\u021bii lor, pe care au avut-o \u00eenainte de a fi str\u0103muta\u021bi din Moldova. Simt c\u0103 mai am \u00eenc\u0103 multe de aflat, dorind foarte mult s\u0103 v\u0103d casa bunicilor, locul de unde au fost du\u0219i \u00een Siberia \u0219i Kazahstan. A\u0219 vrea s\u0103 \u0219tiu ce rude de-ale noastre mai sunt \u00een via\u021b\u0103.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Uneori g\u00e2ndesc c\u0103 bunicul a sf\u00e2r\u0219it ca un martir \u00een lag\u0103rul siberian nu doar din cauza viziunilor sale politice*, dar \u0219i din culpa unor invidio\u0219i, care l-au denun\u021bat \u0219i au depus m\u0103rturii false \u00eempotriva lui. Cu ce oare s-au pricopsit tic\u0103lo\u0219ii?..<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Ast\u0103zi aceste reflec\u021bii \u00eemi trezesc sentimente de triste\u021be c\u0103 am pierdut oameni dragi, pe care nu i-am \u0219tiut niciodat\u0103. Au plecat de l\u00e2ng\u0103 noi \u0219i nu a r\u0103mas nimic de la ei, de parc\u0103 nici n-au existat. C\u00e2t nu m-am str\u0103duit \u00een c\u0103ut\u0103ri, nic\u0103ieri nu am putut g\u0103si m\u0103car o simpl\u0103 fotografie de-a bunicului Vasile, ca s\u0103 am o amintire despre cel ce a stat la r\u0103d\u0103cina neamului meu, dar care a fost dus departe de satul natal \u0219i \u00eenmorm\u00e2ntat pe meleaguri str\u0103ine…<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Throughout the ages, our Romanian people have gone through an uninterrupted series of tragedies: invasions, epidemics, wars, occupation, organized famine, mass deportations, repression. Their history seems unlikely, but unfortunately it remains far too true.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

For several years I have been asking a question: why was my grandparents’ family deported – a family of midwives from Sire\u021bi village, Straseni district?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

His grandfather, Moses Vasile, had been mayor of his native village since 1918. By the time the Soviets arrived, he no longer held this position, but worked with his own forces posted by the land, which he had in possession, in other words, was an ordinary peasant, like many other countrymen. Yes, the household he had was good enough to arouse one’s envy: he had over 9 ha of land, a cow, a horse, a cart, a stone house built in the heart of the village. But his family was also large, raising five girls. However, as a result of the establishment of the Soviet regime, they were all raised on the night of June 12-13, 1941 …<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

My grandfather was taken to the forced labor camp in the town of Ivdel in the Sverdlovsk region, and his wife (my grandmother, Ana), along with her five children, was relocated to the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kzil-Orda region, the town of Teren- Uses. From the little information we have at the moment, we know that in 1943 Moses Vasile died, and the cause of death and the place of his burial were not announced to us either by the relevant bodies of the USSR or by the current Russian Federation. . Although I realize quite well what happened to him in „ice” Siberia. He worked hard to cut down the forest, being scantily clad, without adequate nutrition, without medical care, in the conditions of a harsh taiga climate. All this, taken together, damaged his health. At the same time, her grandmother, with her five minor children, was fighting hard for survival in the arid and no less cold part of Kazakhstan. There they were kept under the strict control of the local authorities, being deprived of any source of existence and the right to leave the locality. In order not to starve, along with other bastards from the forced exile, they collected all kinds of wild seeds, ears of cereals, edible roots, herbs … more at night, secretly, because in case they were caught, they could be severely punished. One day, my mother and one of her sisters, Veronica, tried to flee to Moldova, but were arrested and sent to prison. It was not until the late 1950s that they were allowed to leave Uzean Land for another destination. After her grandfather’s announced death, in order to survive the harsh weather and restrictions, her grandmother remarried a Moldovan (also a former mayor, sent to correctional work in Kazakhstan), giving birth to another daughter, whom they named Valentina. Of all the mother’s sisters, only Aunt Valea is still alive, the others have already died. Sometimes we meet and remember the times when my grandmother and mother were alive. We are overwhelmed by emotions and we are happy with only one thing: the children who were born during the deportations were recognized as victims of the totalitarian communist regime. Now I can bet on some facilities, for the time being, being satisfied with 700 lei in addition to the miserable pension they have.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m sorry I didn’t meet my grandfather at all. My mother was afraid to tell us what she knew about her father’s fate, but also about the period of deportations and atrocities she had personally gone through. Grandma always warned us not to tell anyone about our family, because we were declared „enemies of the people.” When I was little, I couldn’t understand what was going on. It was only at the age of adulthood that it became clear to me that my family had suffered terrible injustices and far too many shortcomings because of the inhuman Stalinist regime. The fear of repeated persecution was so great that even today they know nothing of the history of their lives, which they had before being displaced from Moldova. I feel that I still have a lot to learn, wanting very much to see my grandparents’ house, the place where they were taken to Siberia and Kazakhstan. I would like to know which of our relatives are still alive.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Sometimes I think that my grandfather ended up as a martyr in the Siberian camp not only because of his political views *, but also because of some envious people who denounced him and gave false testimony against him. What did the villains do with it? ..<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Today these reflections arouse in me feelings of sadness that I have lost loved ones, whom I never knew. They left us and there was nothing left of them, as if they did not even exist. While I was not searching, I could not find a single photograph of my grandfather Vasile anywhere, to have a memory of the one who was at the root of my nation, but who was taken away from his native village and buried in foreign lands …<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
